About Embroidery

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. Contemporary embroidery is stitched with a computerized embroidery machine using patterns digitized with embroidery software. In machine embroidery, different types of "fills" add texture and design to the finished work. Machine embroidery is used to add logos and monograms to business shirts or jackets, gifts, and team apparel as well as to decorate household linens, draperies, and decorator fabrics that mimic the elaborate hand embroidery of the past. Machine embroidery is most typically done with rayon thread, although polyester thread can also be used.

Heat transfer printing is a method in which your custom design is printed and heat transferred onto clothing and garments using silk screen ink, vinyl, rhinestone, glitter, full color and many more designs. This is a more efficient alternative to screen printing and silk screen. It is quicker, less expensive, longer lasting and available in full color. The options for colors, reflective prints, glitter and sparkles, beads and so much is available with custom heat press vinyl. Heat transfer vinyl should last the lifetime of the product if it is attached to the substrate according to the manufacturer's instructions.
